Bridge Queer Gathering

Bridge Queer Gathering is a Darebin-based collective for queer and questioning people of all ages. This innovative program launched in 2019 was designed to create safe spaces for projects to flourish in an organic and non-prescribed way. It has provided both employment and training  opportunities for  several working groups of young LGBTQIA+ people wanting to engage with their community in a more positive way.

Bridge Queer Gathering hosts regular activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the community. You can expect anything from creative workshops, to local excursions, to social events, to discussion spaces and more! Bridge Queer Gathering is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ people to connect with others, learn new skills and get involved in their community.
