Community programs Darebin

Community development underpins everything we do at Bridge Darebin. We have developed a number of programs to engage Darebin residents who face barriers to engaging in our services.

Our community programs include Laneway Lunches, a community lunch feeding 60 people every Friday and set to return late-July 2021.
Bridge Darebin has been hosting Laneway Lunches since 2014 but due to COVID-19 restrictions this service has sadly been suspended since March 2020, however we are thrilled to be able to bring it back in a new COVID-safe format!
For a gold coin donation, you can join us on Friday at our Preston site to enjoy a nutritious lunch, connect socially and take a meal home too. Or you can shout lunch for a local by making a donation here. You can choose how you’d like to donate – as a one off or a regular contribution – and all amounts help.

Moving Stars is a supportive group for adults with special needs to express their creativity and make friends. Moving Stars combines movement, dance, music, drama, art and relaxation for two hours of fun Monday nights.
