Community Education Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Education Manager to join our team. As the Community Education Manager, you will be responsible for design, development and implementation of community, educational programs and initiatives that benefit the local community. You will work closely with community members, networks, and stakeholders to identify community and educational needs and design programs that address those needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for community development and education.

Childcare Team Leader
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Childcare Team Leader in a unique community setting, delivering high-quality education and care to children.
Responsibilities summary:
- Lead and direct the activities of staff, students and volunteers within the service in line with relevant policies, procedures, regulations, legislation and laws
- Provide leadership, support, and mentoring to all staff, students and volunteers within the service
- Lead, guide and support educators to create a safe, supportive, stimulating and educational environment for all children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote children’s physical, social, and cognitive development
- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including health and safety guidelines
- Foster positive relationships with staff, volunteers and families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner

ABOUT MOON RABBIT
Moon Rabbit is Bridge Darebin’s environmentally sustainable social enterprise café and catering business. It aims to provide an outstanding experience for customers, clients, staff and volunteers, to meets its commercial targets, engage the local community and most importantly, to enable young people to develop their technical, life and employability skills in a supportive real work environment. Leading by example Moon Rabbit instils up-to-date sustainability practices whilst serving top-quality food and beverages to both internal and external customers.

General Responsibilities: Water all planters/pots/garden beds at Bridge Darebin Green & Moon Rabbit Cafe; Weed and maintain planters/pots/garden bed; Work with facilities/Moon Rabbit to decide on the best plants to plant for the cafe’s kitchen use; Collect worm castings, place into soil in planters/pots/garden beds; Attend to spare succulents that can be sold at the market or via the café (propagate, repot, etc); Occasionally guide ad hoc garden volunteers.
When: Days flexible; ideally once a week for 2-3 hours, or more as necessary in warmer weather. Likely will be regularly 1-2 times a week depending on the weather.
